Viterra’s Community Sponsorship Program supports local clubs and community groups by donating 20 cents per tonne of grain delivered on contract — at no cost to the grower.
When setting up contracts with Viterra, growers can nominate a registered club or group they’d like to support. If working through an agent, the nomination can be made on their behalf. Growers don’t need to be a member of the nominated organisation to participate.
To be eligible for funding, clubs and groups must register with Viterra and be approved. Once registered, they become eligible to receive donations based on the total tonnage delivered by supporting growers.
Payments are made annually, based on tonnage delivered under nominated contracts by the end of April.
