The VBG Art Prize returns this year, inviting local artists to express their creativity through the theme ‘food, wine, and place’. Inspired by the iconic Willi’s Wine Bar Paris, this competition seeks visual art pieces that reflect the rich culture of the Barossa region.
Open to all mediums (excluding photography), the competition offers a $2,500 prize to the winning entry, which will be showcased at Vintners Bar & Grill. The competition is a perfect opportunity for local artists to gain recognition and contribute to the vibrant cultural landscape of our region.
Previous Winner: Abi Mader was awarded the winner of the inaugural VBG Arts Prize in 2023. Inspired by end of vintage celebrations and good food, Abi’s poster art is now hanging on the wall of our Verandah Room, so please drop by for a viewing!
