We had the honour of joining leaders from across Australia at the inaugural National Regional and Economic Development Summit in Toowoomba.
Yesterday: A day of intense brainstorming and collaborative discussions. We delved into the complexities of rural, remote, and regional Australia, explored innovative solutions, and set out key priorities for sustainable growth.
Today: Insights and case studies from the ‘doers’ of our country. We learned from those making a real difference in our communities and took away valuable lessons to apply within our own region.
This summit, hosted by SEGRA: Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia, reaffirms our belief in the power of collaboration to build stronger regional communities.
Attendees included:
RDABGLAP CEO Leonie Boothby
RDABGLAP Chair Rolf Binder
RDABGLAP Deputy Chair Andrew Morphett
Hon Kristy McBain MP, Minister for Regional Development, Local Government and Territories
