The Regional Airports Program is a grants initiative by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. It aims to:

- Boost connectivity for regional areas to domestic and global markets.
- Meet operational needs for aeromedical and emergency services.
Round 4 of the program offers $25 million in grants, with a focus on projects aiding the transition to net zero aviation technology. Applications are now open, and program details are available on the Business website.
Previous rounds of the program awarded funding as follows:
- Round 3 (January 2023): $27.9 million for 44 projects.
- Round 2 (July 2021): $29.6 million for 89 projects.
- Round 1 (June 2020): $41.2 million for 61 projects.
