South Australian tourism businesses will take part in an interactive storytelling workshop on Thursday 1 May at Jacob’s Creek in Rowland Flat. The session will explore how to communicate tourism’s positive impact on local communities, the environment, and the economy.
Hosted by The Tourism Industry Council South Australia and delivered by The Tourism Collective, the workshop focuses on the principles of ‘Tourism for Good’—showing operators how to embed these values into their stories and guest experiences.
The session is open to tourism businesses, local governments, and regional tourism organisations, and will be led by Rebecca White, Paige Rowett and Jaclyn Thorne, Managing Directors of The Tourism Collective. The team has recently facilitated training for the national rollout of the Sustainable Tourism Toolkit in 2024.
Participants will learn how to identify and elevate the stories that matter to their audience—building trust, engagement, and long-term business value.
