Jennifer is an experienced and awarded executive with proven experience driving mid to long term strategic planning and delivery for sustainable economic growth in regional communities and ecosystems.
Jennifer’s twenty years’ experience includes directly engaging with public and private organisations, both domestically and internationally, to enhance regional and sector capacity and capability by building awareness and understanding with ecosystem players regarding future industry changes ahead of time, including topical and pertinent factors such as policy and legislative change, and sustainability.
Prior to joining the RDA BGLAP team, Jennifer was a senior leader within Deloitte Australia and successfully led and managed regional, domestic and international projects relating to AgTech, sustainability strategy and performance, climate adaptivity and supply chain transformation in the AgriFood, Defence and Utilities sectors – many of which required strong consideration towards regional economic, infrastructure and community impacts.
Prior to Deloitte Australia, Jennifer was the CEO of the McLaren Grape Wine & Tourism Association (MVGWTA), whereby Jennifer overhauled the region’s strategic approach to strengthen alignment and build trust with the Board, team and 550+ represented businesses to drive step-changes in performance of McLaren Vale’s international brand awareness and gross regional value. Jennifer’s ability to drive change and focus on business excellence directly supported the delivery of commercial results over-indexing the national averages for grape prices, wine exports and visitation expenditure at the time of her tenure.
Focusing on the future and key issues such as policy change and sustainability, Jennifer co-led Australia’s first single national sustainability programme for wine grape growers and wine producers, Sustainable Winegrowing Australia with national industry partners Wine Australia, Australian Wine Research Institute and Australian Grape & Wine Incorporated over more than two years of consultation and negotiation amid marketplace evolution.
Jennifer is a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and holds tertiary qualifications in business, marketing and circular economy principles from University of Adelaide, INSEEC Bordeaux and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development Geneva.
In 2021, Jennifer was recognised as one of South Australia’s top ‘40 Under 40’ Business Leaders, and in 2023, Jennifer was recognised as one of Deloitte Australia’s Inspiring Women leaders, nationally.
As an extremely proud South Australian, Jennifer is committed to supporting South Australian regions and communities to grow sustainably and capitalise on the business opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.
