Nominations are now open for the 29th South Australian Training Awards—our state’s most prestigious recognition of excellence in vocational education and training (VET).
Presented by the South Australian Skills Commission, the awards celebrate individuals, training providers, and businesses who are making a meaningful impact through vocational education. The program recognises outstanding performance across 16 award categories, with finalists progressing to a high-profile Gala Presentation in September.
Individual category winners will also receive a $3,000 cash prize (excluding the Lifetime Achievement Award), and many will be invited to represent South Australia at the 2025 Australian Training Awards. Organisational winners receive a trophy and framed certificate, with the opportunity for national recognition where eligible.
This year introduces a new category—the Adult Community Education (ACE) Provider of the Year Award, celebrating the role of community-based learning in helping South Australians build foundation skills and employment confidence.
Nominees are assessed based on their achievements, leadership, training quality, and community involvement. Whether you’re a student, educator, employer or training provider, these awards are your chance to reflect on your impact and share your story.
