What an amazing day to take our wonderful Skills To Employment trainees for a walk around the Barossa Bushgardens! The Skills to Employment programs is a 11 week intensive program training these wonderful people up for careers in the care sector (Certificate 3 in Individual Support)
This program will provide these trainees with the following accredited learning modules:
CHCCOM005 – Communicate and work in health and community services*
CHCDIV001 – Work with Diverse People*
HLTWHS006 – Manage personal stressors in the work environment*
HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care*
HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid
HLTINF001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures*
HLTAID002 – Provide basic emergency life support
CHCLEG001 – Work Effectively and Legally*
HLTAID001 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
CHCCCS002 – Assist with movement
It's so great for our health to go outside for a walk to connect with our environment and each other. Our local care and support industry has a great cohort of workers in the making!
