The On Farm Connectivity Program offers grants from $3,000 – $30,000 to enhance digital connectivity for farmers, supporting the purchase of digital farming technology to improve productivity and safety. It is part of the Better Connectivity for Rural and Regional Australia Plan, with objectives to extend digital connectivity, enhance capacity for digital agribusiness solutions, increase productivity and growth, and improve knowledge and use of advanced farming technology.
Eligible Primary Producers can access the program through an eligible Equipment Supplier, with the program offering a rebate covering 50% of the cost for eligible equipment, aiming to increase investment in agricultural operations, improve sector efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability, and enhance safety and digital literacy on farms.
Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with applications closing on 31 May 2024, or once funds are depleted.
