“Nexus Barossa Stage 2” by Wonganella Constructions has received $1 million in grant funding through the State Government’s $154.2 million Economic Recovery Fund. The ERF aims to assist business and industry in key areas to grow jobs, improve productivity, increase exports and support value adding tech in SA.
The $84 million Nexus Hotel is due to be built early 2026 and will feature 98 hotel rooms, a restaurant, function space and day spa. The site was granted planning approval in 2021.

Apply for Economic Recovery Fund grants
Small business or not-for-profits can apply for grants from $2500 to $50,000 (matched contribution) to buy energy efficient equipment or make energy usage and costs improvements, as part of the Economic Recovery Fund, Small Business Energy Grants program.
