Mobile Network Hardening Program (Grant)

The Australian Government’s Mobile Network Hardening Program (MNHP) is back with up to $20 million in funding for mobile network upgrades. This initiative aims to prevent outages during natural disasters and strengthen the resilience of critical telecommunications infrastructure in regional, remote, and peri-urban areas. Round 3 is divided into two streams:

• $10 million for Regional and Remote Australia, targeting resilience upgrades in remote communities, including First Nations areas.
• $10 million for Peri-Urban Fringe, focusing on regions at risk of natural disasters near the outskirts of cities.
