Farmers are essential to Australia’s food security, yet many face significant mental health challenges in silence. Just a Farmer is a compelling film that explores these struggles, highlighting the resilience and sacrifices of those working in regional communities.
On 9 April at the Capri Theatre, The Hon Clare Scriven MLC will host a special screening, followed by a panel discussion with writer and executive producer Leila McDougall and other special guests. The discussion will focus on mental health and wellbeing in rural communities, sparking important conversations about the support needed for farming families. All proceeds from this event will go towards mental health and wellbeing programs for farmers and their families.
Why attend?
