Regional Development Australia Barossa Gawler Light Adelaide Plains (RDABGLAP) is proud to announce Jennifer Lynch as its new Chief Executive Officer, commencing 28 January 2025. Jennifer succeeds Leonie Boothby, who is now CEO of Regional Development Australia Adelaide Metro.
Jennifer is an award-winning executive with over 20 years of leadership experience, delivering significant outcomes in regional economic growth, sustainability, and industry transformation. Her senior roles include Senior Manager, AgriFood Transformation & Circularity at Deloitte Australia, Australian General Manager at New Zealand Winegrowers, Global Manager of Membership Services at Wine Australia, and CEO of the McLaren Vale Grape Wine & Tourism Association (MVGWTA).
At Deloitte Australia, Jennifer led regional, domestic, and international projects across AgriFood, Defence, and Utilities sectors, focusing on AgTech, sustainability, climate adaptivity, and supply chain transformation. Her work consistently addressed regional economic, infrastructure, and community impacts, ensuring long-term benefits for stakeholders.
As CEO of MVGWTA, Jennifer strengthened alignment across 550+ member businesses and enhanced McLaren Vale’s global reputation. Under her leadership, the region achieved record growth in visitation, grape prices, and wine exports, exceeding national benchmarks.
Jennifer also co-led the development of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, the nation’s first sustainability framework for wine grape growers and producers. Developed in collaboration with Wine Australia, the Australian Wine Research Institute, and Australian Grape & Wine Incorporated, the program is now a global benchmark for sustainability in the wine sector.
Recognised in 2021 as one of South Australia’s ‘40 Under 40’ Business Leaders by InDaily and in 2023 as one of Deloitte Australia’s Inspiring Women leaders, Jennifer is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also holds tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, and circular economy principles from the University of Adelaide, INSEEC Bordeaux, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
