We are delighted to introduce two exceptional additions to our team: Hayley Laney, our new Manager of Education & Workforce, and Elizabeth Kennedy, stepping in as the Support Officer. Both Hayley and Elizabeth bring a wealth of experience and expertise that is set to enrich our campus community in unique and exciting ways.
Hayley Laney joins us with a distinguished background in education and leadership. As a holder of the Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) certification, Hayley’s commitment to excellence in teaching and maintaining high professional standards is evident. With a Master’s in Education specialising in Digital Technologies, she embodies the integration of modern technology into educational practices.
Her tenure at the Department for Education in South Australia has equipped her with invaluable skills in strategic planning, curriculum development, and leadership. Hayley’s roles as a Highly Accomplished Teacher and Assistant Principal in Middle School and STEM have prepared her to take on the challenges and opportunities of managing education and workforce development at our university. Her appointment marks a strategic step towards enhancing the educational quality and workforce management on our campus.
Elizabeth Kennedy brings to our campus a diverse background spanning various sectors. Her experience as the Executive Officer at the Australian Catholic University and her roles in legal information at Minter Ellison Lawyers and Phillips Fox Lawyers have honed her skills in administration, management, and legal information handling. Elizabeth’s educational expertise, gained from teaching roles within the South Australian Education Department and the New Zealand Ministry of Education, makes her uniquely qualified to understand and support the needs of our students and faculty.
At Barossa Regional University Campus, Elizabeth will play a crucial role in managing campus facilities, supporting student activities, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. Her diverse skill set from previous roles will be instrumental in maintaining a smooth and efficient campus operation.
