The Barossa Council has released a draft of its Growth and Infrastructure Investment Strategy, a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing our renowned wine, food, and tourism sectors, and ensuring the region remains vibrant and sustainable. This draft has been shaped by extensive community feedback from previous consultations held in 2023. Key areas of focus in the draft include potential growth options for the Barossa’s townships, smaller settlements, and rural areas, with a special emphasis on employment and tourism opportunities outside of township boundaries.
The Council is committed to a transparent planning process and values your input to help guide the future development of our region. Feedback collected will play a vital role in determining the supported strategies and actions.
