What Is Festivals Australia?
Festivals Australia is a government funding program that helps bring high-quality arts experiences to regional and remote communities. The program supports performances, exhibitions, workshops, and installations that encourage community participation.
Who Can Apply?
Regional artists, arts workers, and organisations can apply if their project will be part of a festival or significant one-off community celebration. Projects must:
- Engage the community.
- Take place in an eligible regional or remote area.
- Be a single project, not a series of unrelated activities.
What You Need to Know
Funding available: $1.4 million annually.
Applications close: 18 March 2025.
Projects must start on or after 1 July 2025.
