We are thrilled to announce that David Bailey has joined the Regional Development Australia Barossa Gawler Light Adelaide Plains (RDABGLAP) board this March 2024. He brings to the board a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in urban planning and development across some of South Australia’s most critical growth areas.
Having served in various capacities, including as the Adelaide Plains Council’s Manager of Growth and Investment and Strategic Projects Officer, David has a deep understanding of what it takes to foster liveable and sustainable communities. His roles in strategic and policy planning with the Cities of Adelaide and Charles Sturt, as well as his hands-on experience in assessment roles, running a consulting practice, and lecturing at tertiary level, provide him with a multifaceted perspective on development and community engagement.

His appointment underscores our commitment to enhancing regional development and community wellbeing in the Barossa, Gawler, Light, and Adelaide Plains areas. We look forward to the valuable contributions David will make towards our ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at bolstering our region’s growth and prosperity.
