Green Industries SA is offering grants of up to $100,000 for projects that advance the circular economy and promote the use of recycled materials in South Australia. This funding initiative is open to councils, industry associations, not-for-profit organisations, research institutes, and businesses engaged in creating innovative circular economy business models and practices, or in producing, manufacturing, selling, or promoting products made from recycled materials within the state.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants eligible for these grants include local councils, industry associations, not-for-profit organisations, research institutes, and businesses focused on circular economy innovations or the promotion of recycled-content products. Consultancy businesses are not directly eligible but can participate by partnering with an eligible organisation.
Project Focus
The grant aims to support a wide array of projects targeting priority waste materials, including but not limited to plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, scrap metals, textiles, e-waste, batteries (excluding used lead acid batteries), tyres, organics, and emerging or problematic waste materials like solar PV panels and wind turbines.
