Barossa Village has launched a 2025 co-design project to redevelop three key outdoor areas at the Residency: the Residency Gardens, Humberdross Way frontage, and Orchard Garden. The project places residents at the centre of decision-making, including plant selection, path design, and layout of garden features.
The redesign includes raised garden beds, accessible footpaths, sensory planting, social seating, and native landscaping to promote wellbeing and sustainability. A community mosaic will also be created by local artist Kate Ahlfors. Landscape planning is being delivered by Design By Emma. The project is supported by local benefactor Mr Dudley Boehm of Nuriootpa.
