The Barossa Village redevelopment project at Buna Terrace and Kokoda Road in Nuriootpa is currently in full swing. This initiative aims to provide five new independent living homes, expanding the available space by an additional 300 sqm through the acquisition of the 10 Buna Terrace property. The total site now encompasses 2400 sqm, transforming a previously inaccessible area into a residential hub.
Each of the new homes is set to include two or three bedrooms, with additional features such as carports and garden spaces. The design, developed in collaboration with GJ Gardner, focuses on providing functional and comfortable living arrangements for seniors, promoting a sense of independence and community integration.
The project is also notable for its sustainable approach, with efforts to recycle and repurpose materials from the previous structures. The site is positioned conveniently close to local amenities, including schools, shops, and parks, enhancing accessibility for residents.
As construction progresses, further updates will be provided to keep the community informed about this significant development. For more information and regular updates, visit the Barossa Village website.
