A free two-day face-to-face workshop is being delivered in selected regional locations as part of the Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Initiative, supported by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
The workshop explores how communities adapt to change, engage in inclusive conversations, and support each other through challenges such as drought and trauma. Participants will:
- Explore their region’s readiness for change
- Learn practical skills for adapting to change and working with others
- Participate in activities on inclusive community engagement and trust-building
- Examine how language and storytelling can support local collaboration
Facilitators will lead participants through activities and discussions, with all required materials provided. Morning tea and lunch are included on both days.
Workshops are delivered by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. Attendance is free, with places limited to 35 participants per location. Waitlists may apply.
Registrations close one day prior to each workshop. If you are no longer able to attend after registering, please advise the organisers so your place can be reallocated.
