On 16th October 2024, the Greenock Hotel was buzzing with conversations as local entrepreneurs gathered for the Back of the Napkin Networking Lunch. Planned for 25 attendees, the event far exceeded expectations with over 80 business owners in attendance, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for collaboration in the Light region.
Hosted by Sea to Valley Startups, with the support of Light Regional Council and Regional Development Australia Barossa Gawler Light Adelaide Plains (RDABGLAP), the event provided a relaxed setting for business owners to connect, share ideas, and discuss their business challenges.
Anita Mariani, RDABGLAP’s Regional Development Manager, engaged the audience with a presentation that highlighted the importance of ongoing support and resources for regional businesses. Attendees enjoyed an informal lunch while gaining valuable insights from their peers and local industry leaders.
The event underscored the strength of the Light region’s business community and the importance of creating spaces for these connections to grow.
