The Adelaide Plains Council has unveiled its Strategic Plan 2025–2028, outlining a clear path to achieving a thriving, proactive community with an enviable lifestyle, emerging economy, and remarkable landscapes by 2028.
Key focus areas include:
- Enviable Lifestyle: Strengthening community connections, improving access to essential services and fostering vibrant townships
- Emerging Economy: Supporting agribusiness, local employment and tourism while enhancing township services and infrastructure
- Remarkable Landscapes: Preserving natural heritage, mitigating natural disasters and improving resource recovery
- Proactive Leadership: Ensuring good governance, sustainable financial planning and proactive partnerships to unlock new opportunities
Developed in consultation with the community throughout 2024, the plan identifies priority actions for Council, partners and stakeholders. It will guide decision-making, resource allocation and advocacy over the next four years.
