Twenty-one local clubs across the Barossa, Light, Gawler and Adelaide Plains region have secured funding through Round 53 of the South Australian Government’s Active Club Program, delivered by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. The program provides grants of either $1,500 or $3,000 to support sport and active recreation across South Australia.
This round delivered more than $1.3 million in total. Clubs in our region will use the funding to deliver programs, upgrade equipment, and strengthen community participation.
Successful applicants include:
- Angaston Football Club – $3,000
- Barossa Rams Rugby Club – $3,000
- Barossa Tigers Junior Basketball Club – $3,000
- Gawler Gymnastic Club – $3,000
- Kapunda Golf Club – $3,000
- Light Archers Inc – $1,500
- Mallala Football Club – $3,000
- Tanunda Cricket Club – $1,500
- Two Wells Football and Netball Sporting Club – $3,000
- Willaston Football Club – $3,000
