Kapunda celebrated outstanding local businesses at the 2024 Kapunda Business Awards, hosted by the Kapunda Business Alliance at the Kapunda Regional Gallery. Over 1,300 votes were cast, highlighting strong community support for 44 nominated businesses.

Business of the Year: Prince of Wales Hotel (Owners: Peta and Troy Apps)
Best New Business 2024 and Best Window Display: Com Viet (Owner: Maggie Truong)
Outstanding Customer Service: Kapunda Home Hardware (Owners: Andrea and Peter Duregon)
The awards also acknowledged the excellent contributions of Tim Daley and Paul Fisher (Anlaby Station), Sally Hunt and Sarah Roberts (Sally’s Treasure Hunt), and Hannah Heintze and Kayla Oliver from Pure Grace.
RDABGLAP board member and Chair of the Kapunda Business Alliance Bridget Kimber highlighted the significance of the community’s engagement and praised the local businesses for their ongoing commitment and high-quality service. Fellow board member Natalie Seaman was also in attendance, further demonstrating RDABGLAP’s strong support for local economic development.
This year’s event showcased not only business achievements but also celebrated the vibrant and collaborative local community that drives Kapunda’s success.
