Construction is now underway on Gracewood, a residential development located in Mallala, South Australia. The $100 million project is being developed by Wel. Co and will deliver 512 homes.
The estate is expected to accommodate approximately 1200 residents upon completion. According to the 2021 Census, the township of Mallala and its surrounding rural area had a population of 1042.
Infrastructure included in the project:

A $2 million wastewater treatment plant, funded by Developer Wel. Co in partnership with Alano Utilities

A $1.5 million community park featuring a fenced dog park, half basketball court, and wetland walking trails

Mains water connection, with future capacity upgrades to be planned with SA Water
Land sizes range from 375 square metres to 3489 square metres. More than 100 lots have been sold to date. The project is expected to be completed over a five-year timeframe.
