Following eight years as CEO at the City of Mount Gambier, Mark has remained active in consulting across local government, the not-for-profit sector and private enterprise. In recent years this has included a number of Interim CEO appointments with councils across South Australia including Wakefield Regional Council (twice), Karoonda East Murray, Southern Mallee, Tumby Bay and currently Light Regional Council.
Earlier in his career, Mark spent approximately 15 years at the City of Port Adelaide Enfield serving as Director Corporate Services and Director Community Development. He also gained international experience in the early 2000s working in Beijing in executive recruitment and human resource management for multinational organisations. This was followed by four years in Sydney as a recruitment and management consultant with a large firm specialising in local government.
Mark brings deep expertise, steady leadership and practical understanding, aplying more than 30 years’ experience working in and alongside the local government sector. His interim and consulting roles enable him to share that knowledge while continuing to learn and adapt in a constantly evolving sector.
