2025–2026 Grassroots Grants program is open. Funded through the landscape levy, this program provides up to $200,000 to support local environmental projects that sustainably manage natural resources through on-ground work and education.Funding from $2,000 to $10,000 is available on a competitive basis to projects that deliver strong outcomes aligned with the Northern and Yorke Landscape Plan. The program supports volunteers, schools, First Nations groups, community organisations, councils, and landholder groups. What’s new this year is a simpler two-stage application process: – Stage 1: Expression of Interest (EOI) – Submit a short project overview from 31 March to 11 April 2025. – Stage 2: Full Application – Selected EOIs will be invited to apply via SmartyGrants from 22 April to 16 May 2025.
