Conducted in October – November 2025, our Regional Business Survey captured a timely snapshot of business sentiment across the region, including confidence levels, key challenges, workforce pressures, investment intentions and economic outlook.
The survey was promoted through RDA BGLAP and council communication channels, stakeholder networks, and in-person engagement at regional events. LGA partners and stakeholders were also provided with distribution packs to support broad regional participation.
The findings provide valuable insight into the current operating environment for local businesses and have directly informed the continued development of our new Strategic Plan.
Consultation on the draft Strategic Plan is currently underway, with adoption by the RDA BGLAP Board scheduled for June 2026.
