Mark joined RDA BGLAP in 2020 from a career in the hospitality and allied food industries to work on food related projects in the region.
He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all things culinary and is regarded as one of Australia’s leading regional chefs with extensive experience in hospitality management, food production and culinary education.
Mark has sat on numerous strategic and advisory bodies at both local and state government level in regard to food and tourism infrastructure and was a founding member of both the Barossa farmers Market and Food Barossa.
His key area of focus are a workforce development strategy for the hospitality industry, engaging end users with local food producers and manufacturers to shorten supply chains, and working to facilitate cross sector communication to position the Barossa as a centre of culinary excellence and celebrate the Food Bowl on the Northern Adelaide Plains.
