Leonie has over 25 years’ experience working in senior management roles in both the public and private sectors. Her public sector experience includes both state and local government and she has also worked in not-for-profit organisations. Her private sector experience has been gained in the retail, hospitality, tourism, franchising and finance industries across Australia and overseas.

Leonie Boothby & Associates is a consultancy firm providing strategic planning, tourism planning, research and analysis; economic development, community engagement and consultation; and project delivery services.

Leonie has many years of experience in development of strategies across a range of sectors including arts and culture, tourism and regional economic development; and for a range of organisations including not-for-profits and local and state government. Leonie has proven, high level research and analysis, planning, writing, community engagement and consultation; and project management and delivery skills and experience.

Leonie has a unique point of difference in the management consulting arena in that she has strategic, practical, technical and service delivery experience gained across a number of industries in the private sector and in government at both state and local government level.
