Rhys’ experience spans universities, government and the not-for-profit sector, bringing together operational leadership, strategy, partnership development and program design.
His previous work has focused on the intersection of youth capability, community development, workforce pathways and career development, with a strong interest in how young people navigate transitions and access meaningful opportunities.
He brings particular strengths in strategic program and pathway design, community and regional engagement, workforce development, capability building, operational leadership and process improvement.
Rhys is driven by work that connects people to opportunity and strengthens the communities they belong to. He is a Registered Professional Career Development Practitioner with the Career Industry Council of Australia and a Professional Member of the Career Development Association Australia. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Education, specialising in Career Development and Counselling, from QUT, and a Bachelor of Educational Studies from Southern Cross University.
