The theme of the 5th International Biennial Conference of the Institute of Place Management is Transforming Place – exploring processes and practice that shape the relationship between people and the place they live.
Place management and development is about understanding and facilitating the transformation of towns, cities and regions to improve their liveability, viability, tolerance and resilience to disruption. The challenge for place management policy and practice is leading the positive transformation of Place to improve its prosperity.
Day 2 held at Yalumba Winery on Thursday 7th November 2019 will focus on topics covering cultural placemaking, knowledge partnering for community development, place management, branding and story telling around terroir.
