If you are looking into subject choices, university courses or career options this interactive workshop allows you to explore and try skills in health care.
Participate in a live simulation with Mani, the simulation Manikan that moves and can be diagnosed by you taking the vital signs.
Listen to a mock “000” call, will you find the problem before arrival at hospital?
Understand and learn about Blood! How much oxygen do you carry? Can you predict outcomes of Hereditary blood disorders?
Have a real discussion with professionals working in various health areas and ask them all your questions.
Find out about career prospects (likelihood of employment and the pay) and what you will need to do to get there (what qualifications you need).
Lunch is included.
This program is partnering with UniSAconnect and Youth Barossa and is suitable for those aged from 16.
Places are limited.
Conditions
As this program is a practical activity, participants will be required to wear closed in shoes and appropriate dress attire.
