The Business Export Development Program is a market driven program developed by Norman Waterhouse Lawyers in collaboration with Regional Development Australia to assist local businesses to take advantage of the China opportunity.


This program is for you if want to:

  • hear the very latest thinking and market trends for South Australian businesses engaging in trade and investment with China
  • learn how to effectively engage with the Chinese market and identify market access points
  • develop an understanding of Chinese culture and business etiquette
  • learn how to get your pitch right and present to Chinese potential buyers and investors
  • obtain individual high level business, legal and commercial structuring advice required when engaging in trade and investment
  • hone your business acumen for doing business in China

  •   Marketing and Communications workshop - half day in the Barossa region
  •   Program wrap up in Adelaide

Banquettes and Business Etiquette Training

  •   Attendance at dinner with training on how to host Chinese delegations and business partners


One on one training delivered at your business

  •   Business health check in dealing with China;
  •   Analysis of export/investment readiness including your IP and commercial trading terms;
  •   Logistics overview and recommendations on getting your product to market;
  •   High level assistance in developing your business plan; and
  •   Receive a report with specific tangible next steps for your consideration
